Nurse Practitioner Opportunity with RT Medical

Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
RT Medical is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse with RT Medical, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and patient-focused healthcare company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients in various settings, including in-home, clinic, retirement home, or school
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed
- Act as a patient advocate, protecting and promoting patient rights
- Travel within your region to provide services to patients
- Perform other clinical duties as required
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing degree (BN), or be a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, visiting registered practical nurse, and/or community nurse is considered an asset
- Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach; ability to lift 50lbs (23 kg) independently; ability to assist clients with standing, walking, and sitting; ability to reposition clients in bed
- Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR
- Updated immunization records, including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months
- Clear criminal background check and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire
- Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable car; daily travel of more than 1 hour is required
- Ability to use phone applications
