About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering and Event Services Manager to join our team at Hotel Arts Group. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase catering and event sales revenue within a specific market.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with event planners to understand client needs and preferences, and coordinate logistics to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Menu Planning and Negotiation: Work with clients to plan and negotiate menu options, beverage requirements, and other event specifics.
  • Event Documentation: Prepare and confirm event details with clients, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes.
  • Catering Agreement Enforcement: Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures related to catering agreements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various hotel departments to ensure effective event execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Post-Event Follow-up: Conduct follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Hotel Sales Platforms: Experience with hotel sales platforms like Opera.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience and Skills: 1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference roles, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Event Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operations.
