About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Product Finance to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Canadian Banking Finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, high-impact team and report to the CFO of Tangerine, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the effective execution of business plans and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, stakeholders, and business lines to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial models, forecasts, and pricing strategies to maximize shareholder value and build long-term sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Act as an advocate for Tangerine, ensuring accurate value is being ascribed to all assets and deposits, and providing support for ad-hoc projects and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide financial updates to the Tangerine Board of Directors and senior executives, ensuring transparency and accountability in our financial performance.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in Treasury, Product, Economics, or Finance roles at a financial institution.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, process improvement initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives on a regular basis.
