About the Role

Tangerine Bank is seeking a highly skilled Director of Product Finance to join our Canadian Banking Finance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by ensuring the effective management of our product finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, high-impact team to deliver business strategies and objectives, ensuring compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement financial models to ensure accurate and up-to-date forecasts, with a focus on maximizing shareholder value and building long-term sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with the Tangerine Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Provide financial updates to the Tangerine Board of Directors and senior executives, ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting.
  • Work closely with Scotiabank Treasury to ensure seamless communication and coordination of business updates, particularly regarding potential implications to bank funding.
  • Develop and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to support business decision-making and drive growth.
  • Support the implementation of Tangerine Finance's technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in Treasury, Product, Economics, or Finance roles at a financial institution.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, process improvement initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives and driving business growth.
