About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Finance to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Canadian Banking Finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, high-impact team to drive financial planning and analysis initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business line financials, including revenue forecasting and expense management.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to provide financial insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
  • Support the development and implementation of treasury strategies, including distribution of product funds transfer pricing (FTP) rates and management of treasury-related risks.
  • Provide financial updates to the Tangerine Board of Directors and senior executives as required.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in treasury, product, economics, or finance roles at a financial institution.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, process improvement initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives and stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
