About the Role

Tangerine Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Product Finance team. As a key member of our Finance leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Canadian Banking segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, high-impact team to deliver business strategies and objectives, ensuring compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial models to ensure accurate and up-to-date forecasts, with a focus on maximizing shareholder value and building long-term sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with Scotiabank Treasury to ensure timely and comprehensive pricing decisions, and provide relevant financial updates to senior executives and the Tangerine Board of Directors.
  • Support the implementation of Tangerine's finance technology roadmap, and provide expertise on treasury-related matters, including distribution of product funds transfer pricing (FTP) rates.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience at a financial institution in Treasury, Product, Economics, or Finance roles.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, process improvement initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior executives and stakeholders.
