Position:
Employee Relations Manager (Bilingual: French)

Requisition ID: 203783

The Employee Relations Manager is tasked with investigating and resolving medium to high-risk employee relations and labor relations cases across various business lines and subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, organizational policies, and procedures.

This role requires independent management of complex ER/LR cases, necessitating a deep understanding of the organization's Code of Conduct, human resources policies (such as the Global Harassment Policy and Global Human Rights Policy), employment legislation, and the specific business lines and subsidiaries involved.

As a subject matter expert, the manager will provide valuable insights and coaching on employment-related matters to employees, people managers, and HR business partners, ensuring consistency and alignment with established regulations and policies to prevent setting unfavorable precedents.

Responsibilities include addressing issues related to harassment, discrimination, and violence, as well as collaborating with Corporate Security to prepare investigative reports and present findings to senior leadership, thereby mitigating legal risks to the organization.

The manager will also identify trends and provide strategic insights to senior leadership and HR business partners, contributing to the overall HR strategy by maintaining accurate records in the ER/LR case files to ensure defensibility against potential litigation.

A solid understanding of the organization's risk appetite and culture is essential, ensuring that daily activities and decisions meet obligations while respecting operational, regulatory compliance, and conduct risks.

The role champions a high-performance culture and fosters an inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates talent by effectively communicating the organization's vision, values, and business strategy.
