Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Visual Inspection Technician to join our team at RANIT INSPECTION SERVICES INC.. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance through meticulous inspection processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tests to ensure product quality and identify defects.
  • Interpret and document results from liquid penetrant inspections.
  • Analyze conductivity meters and visual indicators.
  • Review and interpret radiographs.
  • Establish non-destructive inspection techniques and calibration standards.
  • Develop and interpret radiographic films.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate various inspection equipment including magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations during examinations.
  • Provide instruction and supervision to trainees.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports of test results.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 5-10 individuals.

Certifications
  • CWB Welding Inspector Certification Level 1
  • CWB Welding Inspector Certification Level 2
  • Nondestructive Testing Certificate
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in visual inspection techniques.
  • Experienced in non-destructive testing methods.
