Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to conduct visual inspections and ensure quality or detect defects in various materials and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects
  • Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards
  • Calibrate, test, and interpret ultrasonic equipment
  • Set up, calibrate, operate, and interpret magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Instruct and supervise trainees
  • Maintain test result reports
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Work Environment

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations.
