Job Summary

Technical Bureaus (TBS) Inspection Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Visual Inspection Specialist to join our team. As a Visual Inspection Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure quality and detecting defects in various materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects and ensure quality
  • Establish and maintain calibration standards for non-destructive testing equipment
  • Operate and interpret various non-destructive testing equipment, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant
  • Develop and implement techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Train and supervise junior inspectors
  • Maintain accurate test result reports
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing or a related field
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) accreditation
  • CWB Welding Inspector Certification Level 2
  • Nondestructive Testing Certificate
Work Environment

As a Visual Inspection Specialist, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites, large pressure vessels, oil and gas pipelines, and petrochemical facilities. You will be required to work outdoors and in fast-paced environments.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language of work is English, and you will be required to work 30-40 hours per week.
