About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Inspection Technician to join our team at SEN INSPECTION SERVICES LTD. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough visual inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Establish and maintain NDI techniques and calibration standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Calibrate, test, and interpret ultrasonic equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Develop and implement techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Instruct and supervise trainees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform inspections effectively.
  • Maintain accurate test result reports to track and analyze inspection data.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Certifications: CWB Visual Inspector Certification Level 2.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be willing to travel and work in various locations. Steel-toed safety boots and a cellular phone are required for the job.
