The DEV Centre, a prominent venue for meetings and events, is on the lookout for a Healthcare Equipment Sales Manager.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role involves overseeing both reactive and proactive sales initiatives for the facility.

Provide daily leadership to the sales team to meet property sales targets while being accountable for achieving booking objectives and overall revenue.

Manage the sales and marketing budget, while planning and executing strategies to fulfill organizational goals.
Inspire and lead the Sales and Catering Team in all sales and catering operations.
Foster a sales-oriented culture within the organization, engaging both associates and management.
Direct sales efforts, monitor progress, and modify strategies to enhance revenue.
Effectively communicate sales activities and initiatives to operational departments.
Mentor and support sales associates to build a cohesive and dynamic team.

Collaborate with necessary contacts for sales and marketing initiatives, providing training, feedback, and coaching to enhance skills and career development.

Oversee hotel and sales systems (including Delphi) ensuring all relevant client communications, such as proposals and contracts, are accurately documented.

Manage performance to optimize business mix and achieve sales and catering objectives, conducting evaluations and implementing necessary actions.

Develop and oversee the sales and catering budget, focusing on expenses and recovery to maximize returns.

Formulate and manage the marketing budget to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials that drive revenue and meet property goals.

Assess business and sales objectives, market opportunities, and resources to devise profitable strategies.

Implement and uphold a strategic sales plan and actionable objectives to achieve or surpass annual revenue expectations.

Conduct market research to devise effective sales strategies for various segments, aiming to increase market share.

Provide insights into market and economic trends that may necessitate adjustments in sales strategies to meet customer expectations.

Analyze benchmarking data and competitive reports to maintain awareness of the hotel's market standing.

Collaborate with industry tools to identify and capture market share.
Investigate competitors' sales strategies to discover opportunities for increasing occupancy and revenue per available room (RevPAR).

Engage in outside sales calls, direct solicitations, and site inspections to build relationships, target new business, and expand existing accounts.

Represent the hotel at relevant events and sales activities.
Participate in industry events, workshops, trade shows, and company-sponsored conferences.
Entertain clients as needed; engage in applicable corporate training programs.
Collaborate with national sales teams to ensure compliance with sales, catering, and marketing initiatives.
Assist with various projects as assigned by management.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role within the healthcare equipment sector is preferred, demonstrating a proven track record.

A degree in Hospitality or a related field is required.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.

We seek a highly motivated self-starter with strong sales acumen, including exceptional negotiation, prospecting, presentation, and communication skills.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving objectives.
Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, booking systems, email, Salesforce, property management systems) is essential.
