Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Parts and Service Advisor to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of our parts and service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in the parts store and provide expert advice on automotive parts and services.
  • Conduct inspections, take test drives, and examine vehicle maintenance records to diagnose auto services.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage and explain provisions and exclusions to customers.
  • Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and calculate customer payments.
  • Prepare repair orders and obtain approval signatures.
  • Provide parts for auto technicians and assist customers in obtaining the right products.
  • Perform parts inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and follow all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Understanding of automotive parts and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Above-average technical knowledge and a valid G driver's license.
