Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at THAKKAR HOSPITALITY BC-LM INC., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary team delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food quality.

Educational Requirements

Work Environment

This position will be based in various locations, primarily focusing on on-site customer service within a fast food outlet or concession setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will oversee a team of 5-10 individuals, including:

  • General cooks
  • Food and beverage servers
  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Kitchen and food service helpers
  • Staff across various responsibilities
