The Culinary Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service within our establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Work Environment

The role is set in a fast-paced environment where the ability to work under pressure is essential. The work setting includes various locations with a focus on on-site customer service in a restaurant atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The Culinary Service Supervisor will oversee a team of 5-10 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing for extended periods and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
