Mechanical BIM Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical BIM Designer to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a Mechanical BIM Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical building systems.
- Prepare calculations and reports necessary to deliver a project.
- Coordinate the design of mechanical building systems with structural, architectural, and electrical systems.
- Develop project-specific mechanical details and equipment schedules.
- Design Code-compliant building systems that meet client, owner, municipal, and provincial requirements.
- Manage project stakeholder requirements and expectations.
- Develop clash or coordination reports.
- Assist in the efficient development of the Revit model.
- Conduct regular project model audits for model health compared to organizational, project, and regulatory standards and requirements.
- 5+ years of direct industry experience in the field of mechanical building services.
- 5+ years of direct industry experience in the field of mechanical BIM development.
- Degree from an accredited institution in mechanical building services or mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge and experience working with Autodesk Revit 2017 or newer.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office 365 programs, specifically Word and Excel.
