Position Summary:
As a key member of our team, the Applicant Support Specialist will provide exceptional customer service to applicants and clients, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the hiring process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service support to applicants and clients via phone, email, or online chat.
- Resolve technical issues and document all interactions in our customer support system.
- Collect and verify applicant information, ensuring all necessary documents are attached to the applicant's file.
- Liaise with clients and applicants to ensure a smooth background verification process.
- Evaluate and prioritize issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingualism in English and French (required).
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
