Cisco Voice Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Voice Engineer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex voice systems using Cisco technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide level 3 support for Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express
  • Participate in the upgrade of these systems to version 14.1, including planning, upgrading, and testing
  • Collaborate with the vendor Cisco to resolve issues
  • Document and update documentation for the above systems
  • Configure and maintain Cisco video servers (VCS and Expressway)
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor and Vitec IPTV solution
  • Integration of PSTN telephone with TEAMS
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer in Cisco voice products
  • Indepth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure and Voice Gateways
  • Good working knowledge of Unity and UCCx
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Video servers and endpoints
