About the Opportunity

Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Clinical Services, the Pharmacist will engage in the provision of direct pharmaceutical care to both inpatients and outpatients as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include patient counseling, medication monitoring, mentoring students, conducting drug utilization reviews, liaising with Community Pharmacists, and providing education and drug information. The Pharmacist will also participate in any clinical pharmacy research led by the Clinical Division Manager.

About You

We invite applications from individuals who possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized School of Pharmacy
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists
  • Competencies in additional languages are an asset, with French preferred

Hours
  • Various permanent, assignment (temporary), and casual relief (no guarantee of hours) opportunities available in multiple locations throughout Nova Scotia.
  • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Applicants will be asked to specify their work hours and location preferences during the application process.
Compensation and Incentives

$53.24 Hourly

Successful candidates may also qualify for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.

Successful candidates may be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, along with a defined benefit pension plan.
