About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Skip Trace Agent to join our team at goeasy Ltd. As a key member of our National Contact Center, you will play a crucial role in maximizing business revenue through account management and tracking delinquent accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform collection skip-tracing activities to locate customer data and recover accounts.
  • Utilize company-provided internal and external skip tools, as well as the phone, to locate customers and recover accounts.
  • Comply with all federal and provincial regulations, as well as office policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with third parties to obtain customers' location information.
  • Review and analyze credit applications and reports.
  • Handle inbound and outbound skip calls, utilizing multiple internet avenues to locate consumers while meeting production goals established by management.
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress made and account status.
  • Maintain accurate account history and update account documentation and coding on skip-tracing location process.
  • Communicate with the collections team regarding account status and service levels, recommending changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Skip Tracing experience or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • Subprime experience is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and skip tracing skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30-40 wpm.
  • Highly analytical with a creative mindset to think outside the box and find innovative solutions to track delinquent accounts.
  • Strong customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
