We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Legal Account Manager to join our team at goeasy Ltd. As a key member of our National Contact Center, you will play a critical role in managing assigned regional inventory and facilitating collection tools and legal action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate branches on recovery techniques, legal process, and procedures.
  • Manage deadlines and perform legal and administrative duties.
  • Review and flag "pre-lit" and "legal" inventory.
  • Manage recovery portfolio of written off loans through action and activity.
  • Proceed with legal action on delinquent accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with Small Claims Court rules and procedures.
  • Actively manage recoveries inventory and establish payment arrangements.
  • Apply compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Pull and analyze credit reports.
  • Document communications and legal activity.
  • Utilize skip trace to obtain required details.
  • Collect and process payments.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related experience in a similar role.
  • 1-2 years of collections experience.
  • Paralegal designation or legal background (asset).
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Full driver's license with access to a vehicle.
  • Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
