About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at BMO. As a Personal Banker, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their financial needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported in their financial journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team and BMO partners to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest financial products and services, and integrate this knowledge into customer conversations to provide strategic advice.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the branch customer experience, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
  • Typically between 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration to sell investment products, as required for the jurisdiction.
  • Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
  • Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
