Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide proactive and personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough financial needs assessments to identify customers' financial goals and objectives, and provide recommendations on financial solutions that meet their needs.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on BMO's products and services, and provide customers with expert advice and guidance on how to use them to achieve their financial goals.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow BMO's business, and work with customers to develop and implement plans to achieve their financial goals.
  • Risk Management: Apply the risk management framework to the portfolio to protect the Bank's assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio in compliance with requirements for the lending process and established yield, quality, diversification, and risk guidelines.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements, and maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all interactions with customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Experience in financial services, customer service, or sales, with a strong understanding of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions, retail investments, and lending products.
