About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at NATH MEAT & CHICKEN CORNER INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to meet the highest standards.
  • Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment, working in an urban area.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check may be required for this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
