About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at HAPPY SINGH. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring that all events are well-planned and executed.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, ensuring that all aspects of the kitchen are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment.
  • Cuisine Specialties: East Indian cuisine is a specialty of this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required for this role.
