Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced individual to provide goal-focused services to families and individuals in our Treatment Foster Homes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to provide services that meet the unique needs of each family.
Responsibilities:- Provide scheduled, goal-focused services to families and individuals.
- Develop and implement goal-focused activities.
- Communicate effectively with collaborative team members.
- Complete case notes, reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Transport children and youth while providing services.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience providing services to children, youth, and families with critical needs.
- Current Verbal De-escalation Certification and experience in crisis prevention.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of FASD, ODD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and report-writing skills.
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Current Child Welfare Record Check.
- Driver's Abstract and Class G Driver's License.
- Access to an insured vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
- Computer and personal email address.
