Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with our collaborative team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide scheduled, goal-focused services to families and individuals, including developing and implementing goal-focused activities.
- Conduct case notes, reports, and other administrative tasks to ensure accurate documentation.
- Transport children and youth while providing services, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care Practitioner from a recognized college or university.
- 2-5 years of experience providing services to children, youth, and families with critical needs.
- Current Verbal De-escalation Certification and experience in crisis prevention.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of FASD, ODD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and report-writing skills.
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Current Child Welfare Record Check.
- Driver's Abstract and Class "G" Driver's License.
- Access to an insured vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
- Computer and personal email address.
