Technical Support Supervisor Job Description

Code Guru is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Supervisor to join our team. As a Technical Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical support analysts and providing expert technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technical support analysts to ensure excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues using ITIL best practices and technical knowledge.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to technical support analysts to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Information technology.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: ITIL, database software, MS Office, MS Windows, spreadsheet, TCP/IP, and Visual Basic.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate: Ability to provide accurate and timely technical support.
  • Client Focus: Excellent customer service skills.
  • Initiative: Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Language:
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
