Role Overview

This position is a 6-month contract to cover a temporary leave, with potential for permanent placement.

As a Client Account Manager within a 3PL Retail Marketing and Merchandising organization representing a leading technology firm, you will be responsible for ensuring that client requirements are thoroughly understood and met, alongside managing project performance indicators. You will act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, providing clear communication to field management, client support teams, retail, and reporting teams on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams to identify best practices, creative support strategies, reporting requirements, etc. Conduct weekly meetings with clients to assess program priorities and execution effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Senior Management, Field Operations, and Customer Service) to fulfill all account needs and manage the project lifecycle. Develop instructions, reports, and data analyses to ensure all client requirements are met through in-store execution and reporting channels. Work alongside the sales team to pinpoint client growth opportunities. Coordinate with the operations team to evaluate execution and address areas for improvement. Monitor execution compliance and retail trends, generate weekly reports, and provide professional updates internally and to clients. Manage frequency plans and budgets throughout the month. Conduct store visits as necessary to prepare for program requirements.

Attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions to achieve performance objectives and ensure client satisfaction. Balancing both team and individual responsibilities effectively. Solid understanding of project management processes. Analytical skills to evaluate information for identifying trends, potential challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma required. Minimum of two years of experience in retail merchandising and/or sales or equivalent. Experience in project management and event coordination is preferred. Familiarity with Consumer Electronics (CE), Big Box, Warehouse, and retail sales. Understanding of margins, revenue/cost calculations, and their impacts is desired. Managerial accounting experience is an asset. Prior experience in a similar structured program is preferred. Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and online meeting/communication software (Meet, Teams, Zoom, etc.) Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required. Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements, training, or events.
