Role Overview

This position is a 6-month contract to cover a paternity leave, with potential for a permanent role. As a Client Account Manager in a third-party logistics (3PL) Retail Marketing and Merchandising firm representing a leading technology company, you will be responsible for ensuring that client requirements are effectively addressed and met, alongside managing project management KPIs. You will act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, facilitating communication with field management, client support teams, retail, and reporting teams on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams to identify best practices, creative support ideas, and reporting needs.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with clients to assess program priorities and execution performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Senior Management, Field Operations, and Customer Service) to fulfill all account requirements and manage the project lifecycle.
  • Develop instructions, reports, and analyses of collected data to ensure all client needs are met through in-store execution and reporting methods.
  • Work alongside the sales team to identify growth opportunities for clients.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to evaluate execution and address opportunities.
  • Monitor execution compliance and retail trends, generate weekly reports, and provide professional reports internally and to clients.
  • Manage frequency plans and budgets throughout the month.
  • Conduct store visits with and without clients as necessary to plan for program requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of two years of retail merchandising and/or sales experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in project management and event coordination preferred.
  • Familiarity with Consumer Electronics (CE), Big Box, Warehouse, and retail sales.
  • Understanding of margins, revenue/cost calculations, and their impact is desired; managerial accounting experience is an asset.
  • Prior experience in a similar structured program is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and online meeting/communication software (Meet, Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
  • Willingness to travel to client offices, regional offices, corporate/vendor offices, training or convention venues, and retail establishments as needed.
