Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities by engaging with prospects and clients, while cross-promoting Bank products and services such as credit, investment, and cash management solutions.
  • Take a leadership role in Bank and community initiatives to enhance brand visibility and foster new business opportunities.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of banking products, processes, and systems to troubleshoot effectively, ensuring a premium client experience.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments, clients, and legal representatives during the closing process.
  • Act as a primary escalation point to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Provide expert advice to clients regarding loan products, options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements.
  • Offer guidance to business clients on cash management and deposit solutions.
  • Advise clients on business management and financial matters when applicable.
  • Develop and nurture banking relationships while strategizing for prospective clients.
  • Serve as the key subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee, monitor, and report on regulatory compliance specific to the assigned business group.
  • Analyze financial data to ascertain client needs for optimal structuring of the Bank's offerings.
  • Track performance metrics and address any arising issues.
  • Ensure all documentation for loans and cash management services is accurate and complete.
  • Review loan applications and cash management agreements for thoroughness and precision.
  • Evaluate and structure loan requests, determining necessary documentation for approved loans.
  • Negotiate terms for credit and cash management services, including costs and repayment methods.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and pricing guidelines during the extension of credit and delivery of services.
  • Follow up post-closing to confirm all documents are finalized and properly filed.
  • Act as the primary sales contact for clients regarding inquiries about products, pricing, and implementation timelines.
  • Gather detailed information from clients to facilitate the sales process, including completing necessary documentation.
  • Assist the team in pre-sales activities such as pitch preparation and client research.
  • Monitor implementation requests to ensure adherence to timelines and accurate billing.
  • Analyze internal reports and suggest enhancements to sales support materials based on insights and feedback.
  • Compile information packages for pre-call and post-call reviews by accessing internal systems.
  • Conduct research and data collection to support the sales team in addressing client needs.
  • Support sales and service administration to ensure a seamless client experience and identify opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date client information in Bank systems to ensure accurate client history.
  • Focus primarily on business/group within BMO, with potential enterprise-wide responsibilities.

  • Work independently and handle non-routine situations effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Typically requires 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

Salary: $68,000 - $126,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried

The compensation package may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Additional benefits may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans.
