Job Description

Job Title: Senior Risk and Regulatory Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk and Regulatory Advisor to join our team at NBC. As a key member of our Risk and Regulatory department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Review and analyze regulatory documentation from domestic and international regulatory bodies, industry associations, and legal and consulting firms to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risk and ensure the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage projects related to regulatory compliance and risk management, including developing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, and industry groups, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Policy Development: Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures related to operations within the bank to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of regulatory environment in the financial services industry, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
