Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Team Lead to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure timely delivery and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing customer complaints promptly.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, repairs, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
Work Environment

As a Restaurant Team Lead at Tim Hortons, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy restaurant.

Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
