About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that work schedules are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and wastage is minimized.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession, restaurant.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
