Patient Care Coordinator

Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required
- Completion of Secondary School Diploma with relevant administrative or secretarial experience, or a post-secondary diploma in business or office administration.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with supervisor order entry in Cerner applications.
- Recent experience as a ward clerk, showcasing competencies in transcription, processing, and follow-up of patient physician orders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word (testing will be conducted).
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute (testing will be conducted).
- Familiarity with medical terminology (testing will be conducted).
- Experience with payroll entry in Medipay.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Willingness to work both 12-hour and 8-hour shifts.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record.
