Position Overview

The Regional Manager plays a crucial role in managing the operations of several branches within a specified area. This position is tasked with ensuring that all locations comply with operational standards, meet financial objectives, and provide outstanding customer service. The Regional Manager will guide and assist Branch Managers, enhance operational effectiveness, and execute strategic plans to promote performance and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Oversight:
    • Managing the daily functions of multiple Kenny U-Pull locations within the region.
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all sites.
    • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies to meet objectives.
    • Conducting regular site assessments to evaluate operations, pinpoint improvement areas, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  2. Leadership Development:
    • Leading, mentoring, and supporting Branch Managers to optimize team management and development.
    • Creating a positive and productive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
    • Conducting performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and establishing training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  3. Financial Oversight:
    • Formulating and managing budgets for each branch within the region.
    • Reviewing financial statements, recognizing trends, and devising strategies to boost profitability and minimize expenses.
    • Ensuring precise inventory management and optimizing stock levels to satisfy customer needs.
  4. Customer Experience:
    • Guaranteeing that all locations provide exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction rates.
    • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
    • Implementing customer feedback systems to continually enhance service quality.
  5. Strategic Development:
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to create and implement regional business strategies and plans.
    • Identifying market opportunities and executing initiatives to drive growth and increase market presence.
    • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to remain competitive.
  6. Compliance and Safety Management:
    • Ensuring all locations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Promoting a safety-first culture and implementing programs to reduce workplace hazards.
    • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with standards and promptly addressing any issues.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Regional Manager or in a comparable senior management position, ideally within the retail or automotive sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Solid financial expertise with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as necessary (approximately 70% of time on the road).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
