Position OverviewThe Regional Manager is tasked with managing the operations of several facilities within a specified area. This position is crucial for ensuring that all branches meet operational benchmarks, reach financial goals, and provide outstanding customer service. The Regional Manager will guide and assist Branch Managers, enhance operational effectiveness, and execute strategic plans to boost performance and growth.
Core Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Managing daily operations across multiple Kenny U-Pull facilities within the region.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards at all locations.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiating action plans to meet objectives.
- Conducting frequent site assessments to evaluate operations, pinpoint improvement areas, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting Branch Managers to foster effective team management and development.
- Creating a positive and productive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
- Conducting performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and implementing training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Formulating and managing budgets for each facility within the region.
- Reviewing financial statements, recognizing trends, and developing strategies to enhance profitability and minimize expenses.
- Ensuring precise inventory management and optimizing stock levels to satisfy customer demand.
Customer Engagement:
- Guaranteeing that all locations provide exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction rates.
- Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
- Implementing customer feedback systems to continuously enhance service quality.
Strategic Development:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to formulate and implement regional business strategies and plans.
- Identifying market opportunities and executing initiatives to stimulate growth and expand market presence.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor actions to remain competitive.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
- Ensuring that all locations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promoting a safety-first culture and implementing programs to reduce workplace hazards.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with standards and promptly addressing any non-compliance issues.
- Demonstrated experience as a Regional Manager or in a comparable senior management position, ideally within the retail or automotive sectors.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Robust financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed (approximately 70% of time on the road).
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
