Position Overview

Are you a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to enhancing patient care? We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to leverage your expertise in a vibrant and supportive healthcare environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our Respiratory department.

In alignment with the established vision and values of our organization, the Respiratory Therapist operates in accordance with the professional standards set forth by the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT), while embracing a client and family-centered care approach.

You will provide ongoing respiratory support in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, catering to clients with diverse health conditions, including both acute and chronic respiratory issues. Your role will involve working autonomously as well as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for clients and their families. You will engage in consultations and collaborations with other healthcare professionals, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and best practices in respiratory care. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance your clinical competencies and participate in various committees, teams, and approved research initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
  • Valid BC Driver's License as required for the specific practice area.
