We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
- Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date clinical competence.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork and staff morale.
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) and CSRT.
- Current valid BC Driver's License.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
