Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing respiratory care to clients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
  • Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to enhance quality of life and promote client-focused care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain and advance clinical competence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
  • Current valid BC Driver's License.
