We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, using clinical and diagnostic reasoning to inform treatment decisions.
- Teach clients and others about respiratory care and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
- Current valid BC Driver's License.
