Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing respiratory care to patients with a variety of illnesses and diseases, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, using clinical and diagnostic reasoning to inform treatment decisions.
  • Teach clients and others about respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
  • Current valid BC Driver's License.
