About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Earl of Whitchurch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and optimize costs associated with products and services to maintain profitability.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Leadership: Supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support to ensure successful team performance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Security Clearance: Possess basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Own transportation for business purposes.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Schedule: 33 to 40 hours per week.
