About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Earl of Whitchurch. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.

Performance Management

Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Cost Control

Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to manage food and labor costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for employees and customers.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies, securing the best possible deals.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Operational Planning

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business administration.

Experience

At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance.

Transportation/Travel

Own transportation.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
