About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bean Brewers Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the high standards of our customers, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations, and ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management and Training: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure that we have the best possible products at the best possible prices.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen budgets, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: A Safe Food Handling certificate is required, and a degree in culinary arts or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience and Skills: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head cook or executive chef, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
