Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 1675559 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning and executing menus, managing kitchen operations, and supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus, taking into account food costs, nutritional value, and customer preferences
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
