Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Chef Supervision and Training
    • Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
    • Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably as a head chef or executive chef.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
