Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Wilbur-Ellis. As a key member of our Operations Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service via phone, email, and fax, confirming orders and delivery times.
  • Enter orders and necessary shipping paperwork, and invoice customers for Ag and Industrial Sales.
  • Work with the Customer Service Manager to resolve customer issues, including product and invoicing concerns.
  • Input warehouse transfers and raw material receipts for Plant and Terminals.
  • Coordinate with railroad contacts to order loaded rail cars and release empty raw material rail cars.
  • Assist in scheduling deliveries, communicating with Plant and Terminals for Production needs and timelines.
  • Support 24/7 production during Ice Melt season with dispatch arrangements as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; two-year Associate Degree preferred.
  • Proficient ten-key typing skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains preferred.
  • Experience in agriculture or chemicals preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for positive interactions with internal and external employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a team on given assignments.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to accomplish multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
