**The Opportunity**
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a customer-oriented **Parts Sales Representative** to join our team in **Belle River, Ontario**. As the **Parts Sales Representative** you will be the first point of contact for our Service Technicians and retail customers who require parts and accessories.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
As the Parts Sales Representative your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist Service Technicians and customers requiring parts and accessories
- Issue and receive purchase orders
- Administer warranty and claims with the aid of the warranty department
- Manage inventory, quality control and track incoming and outgoing parts
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Attend to general store keeping and warehouse duties
- Receive shipments from carriers
- Generate receiving reports for incoming stock orders
- Stock goods received ensuring goods are places in correct bin locations
- File vendor packing slips and carrier waybills
- Receive interbranch stock transfers
- Remove printed orders in a timely manner, reviewing shipping requirements and determine urgency of order
- Notify sales staff of any inventory discrepancies
- Answer branch inquiries on orders
- Warehousing duties and office administrative duties as assigned
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education preferred
- At least one year of related experience
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Must be extremely organized and be detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 51 lbs. is required
