Dredge Operator
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for maintaining density set points in the plant process to achieve tonnage targets.- Required to review Coordinator Area notes, instruction books, and to record significant information of work performed.- Perform routine equipment inspections throughout the shift.- Required to fill out shift notes/ Hazard recognition forms, review daily shift starts, and attend Monthly Safety Meetings.- Enter Service Requests when needed, with proper information.- Perform equipment lock outs.- Maintain good communication between shift operators, Operating Engineers, Shift Supervisor, and Production Area Coordinator.
What you’ll need:
- High School diploma or GED certificate Preferred.- Industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred.- Basic computer skills are required.- Experience working in a team environment is a must.- Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.- Effective verbal communication skills are a plus.- Mechanically inclined, work under minimum supervision, and strong leadership skills
