Marketing Broker

One Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Broker to join our growing team. As a key member of our Sales Division, you will act as the primary intermediary between our sales team and insurance companies, ensuring that we meet our service and sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Renewal and Endorsement Processing: Accountable for the processing and documentation of all renewals and endorsements for assigned Insurance Advisors through our Broker Management System (BMS).
- Client File Management: Maintain BMS client files up to date with current information and organized per our One Insurance file management guidelines.
- New Business Submissions: Responsible for new business submissions to insurance markets, including fielding questions from markets, gathering and organizing market responses and quotes received.
- Account Monitoring: Responsible for monitoring and alerting Insurance Advisors on potential issues or concerns regarding accounts.
- Team Support: Working in a team supporting Insurance Advisors when they are away or unavailable.
- Insurance Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a preference for experience in Commercial and/or Farm.
- Software and Portal Experience: Experience using Epic, or other insurance software and various insurance portals is a must.
- Technical Skills: Strong demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and a general proficiency with computers.
- Travel and Mobility: Must have a Manitoba Driver's License and ability to travel to all One Insurance locations when required.
- Organizational and Communication Skills: Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills.
- Insurance License and Knowledge: Level 2 insurance license preferred. Knowledge of a wide variety of risk classes and ability to handle both large and small accounts.
- Insurance Market Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Insurance markets, policies/wordings and procedures are essential to this position.
